"Intelligent Design" - Called for what is really is.

Wow!!! I am so happy today. The judge who presided over the Dover, PA case where creationism tried to force "Intelligent Design" into the biology classes called a spade a spade. I am so impressed. The wording he used was so..... right and well written. He totally called it.
If it looks, walks, talks, and quacks like a duck. Then it is a duck.
What a refreshing breath of common sense and sanity. I have yet to read a more articulate and more well reasoned argument on the matter. It puts all doubts to bed. He even anticipated how the pro-ID people would react and called them on it.

What I really like is that he had the courage to say the truth.... that this was an attempt by the religious right to force their religious beliefs into the schools. And he said that the attempts by religious advocates to dress their creationist beliefs as "science" was a farce.

Yea!!!!!!!

Please do not confuse fact with religious belief. It is actualy possible to believe there is a creator or something(s) that designed and set forth, compared to worshiping a God or some higher being. How do you know for a fact that the biology teacher is not lying (unbeknownst to him) as he teaches his class. Besides, when those students in that biology class have to do their final exam, I'll bet they WILL be praying! Conclusivly, we can debate this all we want, as it will all straighten out when we die and then our individual decision will be proven one way or the other. Amen!
